Frequently asked questions
I cannot sign in. What should I check?
Confirm that you are using the same university email used at signup, check your connection, and try the password-reset flow. If the issue continues, contact support without including your password.
Why does ClubUp ask for camera or photo access?
Camera and photo-library access is optional and used only when you choose a profile, club, post, or event image. You can decline access and continue using features that do not need a photo.
Why does ClubUp ask for calendar access?
Calendar access lets you add ClubUp events to a dedicated calendar on your device. It is optional. You can change permission at any time in your device settings.
How do event reminders work?
If notifications are enabled, ClubUp can schedule local reminders for events you plan to attend. Notification permission can be changed in your device settings, and reminders can be cancelled in the app.
How do I report a post?
Open the post menu in ClubUp and choose “Report post.” For urgent safety or privacy concerns, email support with the post or profile name and a short description—do not resend sensitive content.
How do I delete my account and data?
Follow the steps on the Account Deletion page. We will verify the request using your registered email before permanently deleting associated account data, subject to limited legal or security retention requirements.
